Watch: First glimpse of Viraata Parvam out on Rana Daggubati's 36th birthday

Baahubali fame Rana Daggubati celebrates his 36th birthday today. The Telugu actor, who keeps his presence felt in Hindi cinema as well will be next seen in Viraata Parvam. The makers have released the actor's first look and film's first glimpse to mark Rana's birthday.

Hyderabad: Actor-producer Rana Daggubati turns a year older today and to mark the occasion makers of his upcoming film have dropped his first look and film's first glimpse on social media.

Viraata Parvam has rural Telangana of the 90s as the backdrop. The film which touches upon Naxalism stars Rana in the titular role. The official handle of Suresh productions released Rana's first look with a reminder about the first glimpse which will be out soon.

In the first look, Rana is seen all-armed as he gets into the skin of a Naxalite. Distant red flags in the background and the actor coming out of the cloud of smoke suggest that it's a still from an explosive sequence.

Hours after Rana's first look, the makers dropped first glimpse from the film.

The film was scheduled to hit big screens in summer 2021 and the team was nearing the final leg of the shoot before the pandemic hit and shoots were stalled. Now the restrictions are eased out the unit will wrap the film in a short final schedule.

Mounted on a big scale, Viraata Parvam is presented by Rana's father D Suresh Babu and produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri. The film also stars Sai Pallavi, Priyamani, Nandita Das, Naveen Chandra, Zareena Wahab, Eswari Rao and Sai Chand.
