Ekta's Dolly Kitty Aur Chamakte Sitare hits screen at BIFF

The upcoming film Dolly Kitty Aur Chamakte Sitare backed up by Ekta Kapoor has hit the screens of BIFF today.

Mumbai: Bhumi Pednekar and Konkona Sensharma starrer much-awaited film Dolly Kitty Aur Chamakte Sitare is all set to be screened at the Busan International Film Festival on Friday.

Bankrolled by Ekta Kapoor, the film has made its entry to the 24th edition of the prestigious film festival.

Expressing excitement, the acclaimed producer took to social media to announce the news on Twitter.

Sharing the motion poster of the film, the producer wrote: "It's time 2 fly & reach 4 d stars. Super-excited 4 d World Premiere of #DollyKittyAurWohChamakteSitare at d @busanfilmfest."

Earlier on Friday, Ekta posted a photo of herself where she was joined by Konkona Sensharma, Bhumi Pednekar, Alankrita Shrivastava and Ruchikaa Kapoor among others.

Sharing the picture with her fans and followers, she wrote: "On d beach under some chamakte sitaare #balajigoestobusan #dollykittyaurwohchamaktesitare."

Penned by Alankrita Shrivastava, the film is touted to be another women-centric flick.

With a tagline Join the REBELution, the film is helmed by the Lipstick Under My Burkha director.

Besides Konkona and Bhumi, the film also stars Amol Parashar, Kubra Sait, Karan Kundra, Vikrant Massey and Mushtaq Khan in pivotal roles.

The release date of the film has not been finalised yet.

On Thursday, Ekta posted a series of photos and video in a row sharing glimpses of Busan. Alongside the video she wrote: "Hahhahah pizza khane ke baaad today at #BIFF2019 #BussanInternationalFilmFestival ! #kyaaaaahogaaaaa."

"Going to get ready after eating a pizza, I am feeling like I will look like the carpet," she said in the video.
