ED summons Rituparna over Rose Valley scam case

It seems after Prosenjit Chatterjee, Rituparna Sengupta is in controversies regarding the scam with the Rose Valley Chit Fund Company.

Kolkata: After Bengali superstar Prosenjit Chatterjee, it's now the turn of actor Rituparna Sengupta. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Wednesday has summoned Rituparna over the money transaction with the Rose Valley Chit Fund Company. The actor has been called to be present in the CGO complex next week.

The calls of Etv Bharat reporter to know the reaction from Rituparna went in vain. She didn't receive any phone calls.

According to the reports, the Rose Valley chairman Gautam Kundu alleged that Rituparna went for a foreign tour whose expenses were paid by the company.

It is believed that the ED has summoned her to to explain why she borrowed the expenses for her foreign tour without making a proper contract with the company.

Earlier on Tuesday, Prosenjit has also been asked by the Enforcement Directorate to appear in the CGO complex on July 19 in regard to the ongoing investigation in the Rose Valley scam case.
