Hyderabad: Malayalam actor Dulquer Salmaan is coming back to the Hindi film industry after two years. The popular star of Malayalam cinema managed to woo the audience in his earlier Hindi outings will be reportedly seen in director R Balki's upcoming feature.
Dulquer Salmaan all set for another Bollywood outing The buzz has it that R Balki is teaming up with Dulquer for an edge of the seat thriller and the filmmaker aims to take the project on floors in the first quarter of this year. According to a webloid report, Balki, who is known for making slice-of-life dramas like Paa, Cheeni Kum and Ki & Ka was planning to make a thriller for a long and the lockdown gave him enough time to put his thoughts on paper.

When he was ready with the screenplay, the filmmaker and his team were on the lookout for the lead actor and found Dulquer a perfect fit for the role. When approached, Salmaan too liked the idea and greenlit the project.

Dulquer went on acting in southern films like Ustad Hotel, Njaan, Vaayai Moodi Pesavum, O Kadhal Kanmani, Charlie. In 2018 he made his Bollywood debut with the 2018 released Karwaan and the next year was also seen in the rom-com The Zoya Factor alongside Sonam Kapoor.
