Mumbai:Karishma Prakash, the manager of Bollywood star Deepika Padukone has been granted interim relief by a special NDPS court till November 7.

On Tuesday, NDPS court ordered that no arrest can be made till November 7, in response to Prakash's anticipatory bail application, but asked her to make an appearance before the Narcotics Control Bureau. To which, her lawyer informed the court that she will co-operate in the investigation.

Karishma, who is being probed by the NCB in a drugs-related case in connection with actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death, was "untraceable" after she was summoned by the NCB for questioning. She was asked to appear before the NCB on October 27 but she did not depose before the agency. On November 2, an NCB source said that as Prakash failed to appear before the NCB or reply to the summons, the agency had handed over the summons to her mother and owners/colleagues of Kwaan talent agency.

Karishma had filed an anticipatory bail plea before the NDPS court on Saturday. This was after two summons issued to her went unanswered. The fresh summons were issued after the NCB recovered 1.7 gm of charas and some bottles of CBD oil from her premises last month.
