Actor Ajaz Khan, arrested by NCB, tests positive for COVID-19

Mumbai: Bollywood actor and former Bigg Boss contestant Ajaz Khan who was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in connection with a drugs case has tested positive for COVID-19. According to NCB, the officers involved in the case will be quarantined and undergo tests.

Khan's name had cropped up during the interrogation of arrested drug peddler Shadab Batata.

Accordingly, Khan was questioned by the NCB at its office in south Mumbai and his statement was recorded on March 30.

After examining his role in the crime, he was placed under arrest, the official said.

The actor has worked in some Bollywood films and TV shows.
