Zafar wanted to make a film on anti-Sikh riot for the longest time and was keen to begin the new year with the untitled film. He is personally looking into the set-designing. To create the backdrop that looks like India of the '80s, the makers are creating the set, which includes a chawl, and a two-storied building.
Meanwhile, Diljit turned producer with the upcoming Punjab film Jodi which is a period drama. Written and directed by Amberdeep Singh, the film has been co-produced by Amrinder Gill and Karaj Gill. Besides starring alongside Nimrat Khaira, Jodi also marks the debut of Dosanjh as a producer under his banner Dosanjhwala Productions.
