Mumbai:After battling with multiple medical concerns for nearly one week, Dilip Kumar's younger brother Aslam Khan took his last breath on Friday morning.
Aslam, 88, was admitted to Lilavati Hospital as he and his brother Eshan Khan, 90, tested positive for the deadly coronavirus.
The duo was rushed to the hospital after they complained of breathlessness.
The deceased brother of Dilip Kumar had diabetes, hypertension and ischaemic heart disease.
Dr Jalil Parker, who was in charge of the treatment of both the brothers earlier said: "They were brought to the hospital late Saturday night. They have tested positive for COVID-19. Their oxygen levels are low and both of them are on non-invasive ventilator support."

"They have been kept in ICU but we haven’t intubated them as yet. Considering their age and pre-condition health issues like diabetes and hypertension, we have to be extra careful while treating them," he had added.
Speaking of their critical condition, Parker noted earlier: "They are critical because of their age and comorbidities. Their vital organs are beginning to become a cause of concern."
