Hyderabad: Screen icon Dilip Kumar was rushed to a hospital in Mumbai after he complained of breathlessness on Sunday morning. The doctor who is treating the nonagenarian actor has shared an update on his health and said that Dilip is on oxygen support and not on a ventilator.
Scores of Dilip's fans and colleagues from the industry are concerned about his health and have been praying for his speedy recovery. While the actor is being treated at Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai's Khar area, the rumours about his health are adding anxiety to the already worrying fans.
Quashing the rumours of Dilip Kumar being put on a ventilator, Dr Jalil Parkar, who is attending the actor has clarified that he is on oxygen support. Parkar's statement is shared on Dilip Kumar's official Twitter handle.
"Update at 11:45am. Dilip Saab is on oxygen support - not on ventilator. He is stable. Waiting for few test results to perform pleural aspiration: Dr Jalil Parkar, chest specialist treating Saab," reads the tweet.
