Dia Mirza shares pic with son Avyaan, Priyanka says 'God bless beautiful family'

Dia Mirza has shared son Avyaan's pictures with followers on Instagram with a long, emotional note. Soon after she shared the picture with Avyaan, her Instagram was flooded with messages from Bollywood celebrities.

Hyderabad:Bollywood actor Dia Mirza has shared an adorable picture with her son Avyaan Azaad Rekhi. With the picture, Dia introduced her newborn to the world. The actor also expressed gratitude to the team of doctors who treated Avyaan during the first four months as he was a premature baby and was kept in NICU (Neonatal intensive care unit).

On Friday, Dia shared Avyaan's pictures with followers on Instagram with a long, emotional note. She began the post with, "Our story has only just begun Avyaan 🐯🧿 15.09.2021." The actor then thanked the doctors and nurses for their timely care. Mirza also shared how Avyaan's arrival taught her and husband Vaibhav Rekhi "humility, grace, and power of prayer." Dia summed up the post by sending love, strength and prayers to all the parents who are coping with their newborns being in NICU.

Soon after she shared the picture with Avyaan, Dia's Instagram was flooded with messages from Bollywood celebrities. Tahira Kashyap, Manish Malhotra and Diana Penty reacted with heart emoji while Priyanka Chopra Jonas wrote, "❤️👏😍 God bless your beautiful family Dee ❤️."

Dia and Vaibhav announced the birth of their son in July and informed that Avyaan was a premature baby born on May 14, due to complications in her pregnancy. The couple had tied the knot in February 2021 in an intimate wedding ceremony. The actor announced her pregnancy in April.
