Dharmendra goes out of the way to support grandson Karan

The yesteryear superstar Dharmendra Deol took to Twitter to post a video message urging fans to watch his grandson Karan Deol's debut film Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas.

Mumbai: Dharmendra who otherwise shies away from social media went out of his comfort zone to promote his grandson Karan Deol's debut film Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas.

Taking to his Twitter on Tuesday afternoon, the senior Deol posted a video message urging fans to watch Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas.

In the video clip running under one-minute, the Sholay actor says, "Friends, I normally don't share this kind of a message but I could not control myself after watching my film 'Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas' last night. I felt like sharing this message with you."

He further said that Pal Pal Dil Ke Pas is not just a film but a reality.

"It's not just a film, it appears to be reality. The film talks about today's society, today's youngsters, the mutual love between parents and kids. Life is so beautiful and adventurous in the mountains and what all is happening in the cities. Sunny has put his heart and soul into making this film. I would request you all to watch the film in a theatre at least once. Your heart will drag you to the theatre to watch it again, this I can promise you. Love you, believe me," he added.

Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas is a love-story shot in the picturesque valley of Himachal Pradesh. The film is directed by Dharmendra's son and actor Sunny Deol.

Besides Karan Deol, the romantic drama also marks the debut of Sahher Bambba who plays the leading lady in the film.

Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas is set to hit the big screens on September 20.
