Deepika Padukone, Vikrant Massey welcome New Year in Punjabi style

On the eve of New Year, actor Deepika Padukone shares a video on social media that features her and the Bard of Blood actor Vikrant Massey enjoying themselves thoroughly and dancing to hit Punjab tracks.

Mumbai: Actor Deepika Padukone who is awaiting the release of her upcoming film Chhapaak treated her fans with a video of herself and her co-star Vikrant Massey dancing to the tunes of Punjabi tracks.

Amidst her busy schedules and the hectic movie promotions, the Piku actor took some time out to dance her heart out along with her Chhapaak co-star in order to celebrate the advent of New Year.

The actress took to her social media handle to share the latest #Dpisms clip.

Alongside the video, she wrote: "Welcoming the New Year like...(with my partner in crime)... #chhapaak #10thjanuary."

Directed by Meghna Gulzar, the story is written by Atika Chohan along with Meghna.

Based on a true incident, Chhapaak is set to hit theatres on January 10, 2020.

The film is co-produced by Meghna and Deepika along with Fox Star Studios and Mriga Films.

The moving trailer of the film, which had hit the internet weeks backs, is already becoming the talk of the town as it gives a glimpse of the movie's spine chilling narrative.

Days back, the Padmaavat actor initiated a campaign titled Ab Ladna Hai which throws light on situations and conditions that can be changed by consciously bringing a different outlook from within.
