Hyderabad: Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone is facing the wrath of social media users. The actor is being trolled by netizens as she put out clothes that she wore at funerals up for auction. According to a Twitter user, Padukone has put up two kurtas for sale on her website. One of them is a pink designer kurti, which she wore to her Housefull co-star Jiah Khan's funeral in 2013. Another one is a kurti she wore to Priyanka Chopra's father's prayer meet in the same year.

"I am so shocked.. my favourite Deepika Padukone has auctioned her non-couture clothes from 2013.. I repeat 2013 that she wore to different funerals events. Low blow!," wrote a Twitter user.

For unversed, Deepika decided to raise funds for her NGO, Live Love Laugh, which works towards spreading awareness about mental health. For the same, she encouraged fans and social media followers to buy clothes and accessories from her wardrobe.

When trolls targeted Deepika, fans came out in support of the actor and lauded her for good intentions. The criticism, however, kept pouring in as netizens expressed doubt over reselling of brand like Zara. Few even suggested that that the actor should have given away more than a decade old things to her househelp or people in need.

Meanwhile, Deepika has recently wrapped up shooting of Shakun Batra's next. The actor also has Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathan, Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan starrer sci-fi K in the making while Fighter with Hrithik Roshan will be going on floors soon. Deepika will also be featuring in Hindi remake of Hollywood film The Intern which will reunite her with Big B for the third time.
