COVID-19 lockdown diaries: Alaya F. shares throwback Kathak video

As the countrymen are undergoing a nationwide lockdown, actor Alaya F who made her debut with Saif-Tabu starrer Jawaani Jaaneman hopped on to social media to share a throwback dance video in which she is seen matching her steps to the tunes of Ghar More Pardesiya from Kalank.

Mumbai: Newbie actor Alaya F, who won wide acclaim with her debut role in Jawaani Jaaneman earlier this year, is missing her Kathak classes in the time of coronavirus lockdown.

So, the young star has gone ahead and done the next best possible thing. She has posted a throwback video that has her honing up her Kathak moves on Instagram.

"Hopefully when I'm able to go back to Kathak class I'll learn how to keep my feet together during chakkars! But until then, here's this throwback video of me almost falling for 16 seconds @rajendrachaturvedi @gopikrishnakathak," Alaya captioned the video.

In the video, she is seen matching her steps to the tunes of Ghar More Pardesiya from the multistarrer Kalank.

In the video, Alaya attempts a spinning move in Kathak even as she tries keeping her move together.

In a recent interview, Alaya was asked about her reaction if she found Kartik Aaryan in her bed. To which she quipped: "I wouldn't be surprised if I woke up and found Kartik Aaryan in my bed."

Sharing her fondness for Kartik Aaryan, Alaya said: "I wouldn't mind doing a steamy scene with Kartik Aaryan after watching the steamy scene between him and Sara in the Love Aaj Kal trailer."

Alaya also mentioned that she is prepared to tackle all the questions on her relationships."I am too simple to be single, I am too complicated to be in a relationship but I am just right to be in this industry," she said.
