Mumbai: Salman Khan's obsession for Eid release is growing with each passing year ever since his 'Wanted' released on this joyous occasion. The actor who books the slot in advance every year hardly faces any competition since none apparently dares to release a film on Eid, given Salman's track record at the box office. However, the Eid of 2020 seems to be different since three big-budget films with even bigger star cast are aiming to woo the audience during the festive season.
Salman is reuniting with Sanjay Leela Bhansali for 'Inshallah' is known. The film is equally special for Salman and Bhansali since its reuniting them after 19 years. Starring Alia Bhatt in the female lead, 'Inshallah' is tipped to be an epic love saga. Salman during an interview revealed that his film with SLB will release on Eid 2020 while much-awaited 'Dabangg 3' will hit the theatres in December.
But the news of 'Inshallah' release date has apparently disappointed the cinephiles and trade pundits. Why? Well, as reported earlier, Eid 2020 is already burdened with two big releases.
Earlier, the reports of Akshay Kumar's 'Sooryavanshi' releasing alongside 'RRR', which is SS Rajamouli's pan-India film starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR apparently shook the industry. And now, the release clash of these three huge films seems to put the distributors in a fix. According to trade pundits, when two films release on the same day shows get divided and that affects the business of both the films.
