Celebs wishes former cricketer Kapil Dev 'speedy recovery'

Kapil Dev got wishes of good health after he suffered a heart attack on Friday. Shah Rukh Khan, Riteish Deshmukh, Ranveer Singh and others took to social media to wish him a speedy recovery.

Mumbai:The World Cup-winning captain, Dev, was admitted to a hospital in the early hours of Friday after he complained of chest pain. Now, several Bollywood celebrities are taking to social media to pray for his speedy recovery.

Megastar Shah Rukh Khan took to Twitter and said, "Get well sooner than soon Paaji! @therealkapildev."

"Wishing you a speedy recovery as fast as your bowling & batting. Love to you sir," his tweet further read.

Aftab Shivdasani wrote, "Such a relief, best wishes paaji @therealkapildev for a speedy recovery."

Richa Chadha tweeted, "Get well soon sir ! Kapil Dev.”

Actor Riteish Deshmukh prayed for his speedy recovery and shared on Twitter, "Wishing @therealkapildev ji a speedy recovery. Get well Soon Sir."

"The Legend @therealkapildev embodies strength and resilience Flexed biceps Praying for a speedy recovery of my main man," wrote Ranveer Singh.

Actor Angad Bedi wrote, "Praying for you Speedy recovery @therealkapildevKapil uncle. Waheguru sukh rakhe".

The hospital, Fortis Escorts Okhla Road, issued a statement saying the former cricketer is currently in ICU and under close supervision.
