Haridwar: Right after the release of 'Article 15' trailer, the supporters of Brahmin Samaj and Sant Samaj raised objections against the movie claiming that the makers have shown the brahmin community in poor light. Now the Akhil Bhartiya Brahmin Mahasangh along with many Hindu communities have recently protested against the film in Haridwar.
The Hindu communities who went on to protest said that they won't let the film release at any cost. According to them, the trailer has depicted many objectionable scenes demeaning the brahmans.
Akhil Bhartiya Brahmin Mahasangh along with other Hindu communities protested against 'Article 15' at Haridwar-Ranipur burning the effigy of the producer.
Adhir Kaushik, president of the Akhil Bhartiya Brahmin Council, said that they are strongly against the film as it has shown the children of brahmins and mahants in a bad light. Hence, they will not let the film release in Uttarakhand or in any part of the country.
