Boy who never failed in auditions: Mukesh Chhabra's emotional tribute to Sushant Singh Rajput

Renowned casting director Mukesh Chhabra, who played a major role in Sushant Singh Rajput bagging his debut film Kai Po Che!, has paid an emotional tribute to the late actor. As fate would have it, Rajput also happens to be the leading man of Chhabra's directorial debut Dil Bechara.

Mumbai: Bollywood's ace casting director Mukesh Chhabra extended an emotional tribute to the powerhouse talent Sushant Singh Rajput. Chhabra took to his social media handle to share a video which beautifully encapsulates glimpses of Sushant's outstanding performances.

On Sunday, Mukesh took to Instagram to share a video which is compilations of footage from Sushant's auditions and his on-screen performances. The casting director highlighted how the late actor used to nail every audition and never failed at it.

"Sushant Singh Rajput ❤️ A boy who never failed in any auditions, touched millions of hearts with his talent on screen and decided to stay forever in our hearts... Here’s a tribute from Team MCCC to #SushantSinghRajput and his journey, which will be forever cherished and celebrated Rest in Love #SushantSinghRajput," Mukesh wrote alongside the video clip.

Reflecting upon Sushant's tragic demise, Chhabra, who directed the late actor in his maiden directorial venture Dil Bechara, had earlier said that the industry has lost an irreplaceable gem.

Sushant was found hanging in his Bandra residence on Sunday morning. He was 34.

The actor had a successful transition from TV to films. After doing some TV shows, including Pavitra Rishta, he made his big screen debut with Kai Po Che! in 2013. He is also known for his roles in MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, Shuddh Desi Romance, Kedarnath and Chhichhore, among others.
