Mumbai: Amitabh Bachchan was spotted with wife Jaya at the North Bombay Sarbojanin Durga Puja Samiti in the city amid the festivity of Navratri.
For the festive occasion, Amitabh opted for a white kurta-pyjama paired with his signature style shawl while Jaya was draped in a white traditional Bengali saree.
The couple was snapped performing the puja religiously along with Kajol, her son Yug and filmmaker Ayan Mukerji on Durga Ashtami.
Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan Kajol was an absolute beauty in a silk saree dripping the Bengali culture.
The actor was later joined by her mother and legendary actor Tanuja, sisters Tanishaa Mukerji and Rani Mukerji.
Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra, who is busy promoting her upcoming film The Sky Is Pink was also spotted seeking blessings from goddess Durga at the pandal.
She was clad in a white customised floral traditional ensemble designed by Rahul Mishra, complimenting with minimal makeup and beachy waves hairdo.
The actor was also seen striking some poses for the shutterbugs along with Ayan Mukerji.
Shilpa Shetty Kundra also celebrated the day by feeding the girls on Durga Ashtami. The fitness diva shared a picture on her Instagram where she can be seen feeding the girls along with her son Vihaan.
"The wait is finally over as the Goddess who rides on the lion has arrived. There should be no sorrows in my life and I pray that your life befull of happiness. Happy Durga Ashtami," read the caption.
Many other B-town celebs including filmmakers Imtiaz Ali, Anurag Basu celebrated the day with great fervour and enthusiasm with their near and dear ones on Sunday.
