Hyderabad: The trailer of the upcoming Bollywood film Bhoot Police is out. As the trailer suggests, the film is a horror-comedy headlined by Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Yami Gautam and Jacqueline Fernandez. The makers on Wednesday dropped Bhoot Police trailer which promises the audience a heartful laugh coupled with scares. If the trailer is anything to go by, Arjun and Saif are all set to impress the audience with their comic timing and chemistry as fellow ghostbusters.
The spooky adventure comedy is directed by Pavan Kirpalani. The film which went on floors last November has been extensively shot across different locations of the picturesque state, Himachal Pradesh. The team also shot few portions in Mumbai and Jaisalmer.

While Saif Ali Khan plays a character called Vibhooti, Arjun Kapoor's character is named Chiraunji, Yami Gautam is Maya while Jacqueline plays Kanika. Produced by Ramesh Taurani, Akshai Puri and co-produced by Jaya Taurani, Bhoot Police is slated to release on Disney+ Hotstar.
The film was originally announced with Saif, Ali Fazal, Fatima Sana Shaikh in the lead. The casting, however, was changed with Ali being replaced by Arjun and Jacqueline coming in to take over Fatima's role. Interestingly, the film was titled Tantrik earlier and there was a strong buzz that Abhishek Bachchan will be playing the lead role. However, due to some unknown reasons, Saif was roped in for the film.
