Bhavana Pandey reveals why she married Chunky Pandey

Bhavana Pandey revealed why she married Chunky Panday knowing that he was going through a career lull at that time. Bhavana, who recently made her acting debut with web series Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives has shared that she married Chunky in 1998 when he was going through his "lowest phase" professionally.

Mumbai: Bhavana Pandey and actor Chunky Pandey are married for more than two decades but when they entered the wedlock things were not as rosy at they seem now.

Bhavana in her interview with a leading webloid has revealed that when they were dating and later decided to tie the knot, Chunky was going through a rough patch in his career. But still, she went ahead and took the plunge as Chunky had a very positive outlook and never let work affect their personal life.

"When I met Chunky and got married to him, he was at the lowest phase of his career. We met in 1996 and got married in 1998. That is the time he left for Bangladesh. He stopped doing Bollywood films because he wasn’t getting work," said Bhavana.

She further continued, "Imagine, I am dating a man who is so positive… That is the reason I married him, because those two years, even though he was going through his lowest, I never felt that. He was always laughing, joking, being a really nice person. He never let me feel it even when we were dating. And then, when we got married, he continued the same thing."

The couple has two daughters, Ananya Pandey and Rysa Pandey. While Ananya has followed her father's footsteps to pursue a career in acting, Rysa is still studying.
