B-town celebs mourn Sushant Singh Rajput's sudden demise

While the industry is still reeling with the passing away of Irrfan Khan and Rishi Kapoor, Bollywood has to now deal with yet another loss. Kedarnath starrer Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging at residence in Bandra on Sunday. B-town celebs including Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt, Divya Khosla, among others grieved the actor's sudden demise.

Mumbai: The heart-wrenching news of death of the Kedarnath starrer Sushant Singh Rajput has left the country in shock. According to the police, the body of the 34-year-old actor was found hanging at residence in Bandra. Many B-town celebs including Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Divya Khosla, Urmila Matondkar, among others mourned the actor's demise.

Akshay tweeted, "Honestly this news has left me shocked and speechless...I remember watching #SushantSinghRajput in Chhichhore and telling my friend Sajid, its producer how much I’d enjoyed the film and wish I’d been a part of it. Such a talented actor...may God give strength to his family."

"At a loss for words.. So shocked to hear about #SushantSinghRajput’s demise. My condolences with his family," Sanjay Dutt tweeted.

Ajay Devgn wrote, "The news of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death is truly sad. What a tragic loss. Deepest condolences to his family & loved ones. May his soul find eternal peace."

Vivek Anand Oberoi wrote, "At a loss of words. Extremely tragic and upsetting to hear. We will all miss you immensely. My heart goes out to his family and loved ones. May his soul rest in peace 🙏 #SushantSingh #SushantSinghRajput."

Divya Khosla wrote, "Shocked...no words..💔💔 RIP #SushantSinghRajput."

"Extremely shocked n deeply saddened to hear about #SushantSinghRajput how tragic.. RIP 🙏🏼," wrote Urmila Matondkar.

The police said that the actor was suffering from depression from last the six months while adding that the house help informed about the incident. According to media reports, he was seen with his friends last night.

His death comes just days after his former manager Disha Salian allegedly committed suicide by jumping off a building in Mumbai.

"It's such devastating news. My deepest condolences to Disha's family and friends. May your soul rest in peace," Sushant Singh Rajput had said after Disha's death.
