Ayushman to work with Karan in his next?

Ayushmann Khurrana is expected to sign a film with Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. This untitled project is said to be a romedy- romantic comedy.

Mumbai: Actor Ayushmann Khurrana who recently wrapped up the first schedule of his upcoming film Subh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan in Varanasi, has bagged another one with Karan Johar's production house.

According to sources, Ayushmann has been approached for a film with Karan Johar’s production house. The film is touted to be a romantic comedy. However, there has been no confirmation of the same from neither Ayushmann’s side nor Karan’s side.

Earlier, Ayushmann had revealed that he had approached the filmmaker for a movie a few years back and the latter had turned him down. It seems to be the right time for the two to collaborate for a project together.

On the work front, Karan will soon be taking over the reins of direction with his magnum opus Takht. The movie boasts of an ensemble star cast that includes, Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, Janhvi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor in lead roles.

Ayushmann, on the other hand, is still basking on the success of his last outing Bala which also starred Bhumi Pednekar and Yami Gautam. The movie received positive reviews from both the audience and critics.
