Asha Bhosle digs out old picture on Lata Mangeshkar's 91st b'day

As the legendary Lata Mangeshkar turned a year older today, her sister Asha Bhosle took a walk down the memory lane and shared a childhood photo of the Mangeshkar sisters.

Mumbai:Playback icon Asha Bhosle shared a slice of childhood memory as her elder sister and legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar turned 91 on Monday.

She took to Twitter and posted a monochrome picture from her childhood featuring herself, Lata Mangeshkar, and their other two sisters Meena Khadikar and Usha Mangeshkar.

"Birthday Greetings to Lata Didi who is 91 today. Remembering our childhood days thru this picture where Didi can be seen seated left and Meena Tai and I are seen standing behind her," she tweeted along with the picture.

Wishes poured in from all the corners for the Bharat Ratna awardee all through Monday as fans and her celebrity followers flooded the social media with birthday wishes for the legendary singer.

"Everytime I hear your voice it brings out so many emotions. Lata didi, wishing you a healthy, safe and blessed year ahead," Madhuri Dixit Nene wrote on Instagram Story.

"Happy birthday Lata didi," Ayushmann Khurrana posted on Instagram Story, adding with his post a clip of Lata Mangeshkar's evergreen hit Piya Tose Naina Laaga Re from the 1965 film Guide.
