Mumbai: As maven singer Asha Bhosle turned a day older today, Lata Mangeshkar showered blessings and love on her with a heartfelt note.
Taking to her Twitter on Sunday, Lata wrote, "Namaskar. Aaj meri choti behen Asha Bhosle ka Janamdin hai. Main usko aashirwad deti hun ki wo hamesha swasth rahe aur khush rahe (Today is the birthday of my little sister. I bless her. May she always stay healthy)."
The evergreen singer also shared a video of Asha's popular track Nigahein Milane Ko Jee Chahta Hai from the 1963 film Dil Hi To Hai.

Many Bollywood celebs including Kajol and Rishi Kapoor wished the singer on her birthday.
Taking to her Instagram, Kajol posted a picture in which she can be seen posing with Asha. "Happy birthday Asha tai! Always a legend and forever so loving," she wrote alongside.
Hoping to meet her soon, Rishi wrote on Twitter, "Many happy returns of the day dear Ashaji. Remember celebrating your birthday at Pancham's (R.D. Burman) terrace. You cooked for us. Back soon will come and meet. God Bless, love you."
Asha who started her career in the 1940s, went on to rule the hearts of the audience with her magical voice. With a career spanning over six decades, the 86-year-old has given her fans several hit songs like Raat Akeli Hai, Kajra Mohabbat Wala, Dum Maro Dum and Zara Sa Jhoom loon main, among several others.
The singer has also won several accolades including the highest civilian awards in India, the Dadasaheb Phalke Award and the Padma Vibhushan.
