Mumbai: After teasing fans with the intriguing first look poster, the makers of Ayushmann Khurrana starrer 'Article 15' have dropped the trailer of the film on Monday.
The video also features glimpses of a burning statue of BR Ambedkar, vehicles on fire and mob violence perpetrated by men carrying saffron and blue flags.
Ayushmann packs a punch in the role of a no-nonsense police officer with an intense brooding face.
The film helmed by Anubhav Sinha is inspired by the infamous Badaun rape incident that shook the entire nation.
Today marks the completion of five years of the Badaun rape case where two teenage girls were gang-raped and gruesomely murdered by hanging them while they were still alive.
Earlier today, the makers shared the first look poster of 'Article 15' featuring the 'Badhaai Ho' actor donning an intense look.
The investigative drama also stars Isha Talwar, Manoj Pahwa, Sayani Gupta, Kumud Mishra, M Naser, Ashish Verma, Sushil Pandey, Subrajyoti Bharat and Mohammad Zeeshan Ayyub.
'Article 15' is being produced by Benaras Media Works and slated to hit the theatres on June 28.
