Arshad Warsi makes digital debut with Asur

Seems like now is the time for Arshad Warsi to join the digital world. The Munna Bhai fame actor has made his debut in the digital space with the web series Asur. The psychological thriller has gone on air from March 3, 2020.

Mumbai: Actor Arshad Warsi has stepped into the digital world with the psychological thriller series titled Asur.

Asur promises to take the audience on a journey of two opposing worlds - forensic science on the one hand and the mysteries of Indian mythology on the other.

"The plot and storyline are so unique that it is definitely going to leave the audience on the edge of their seats at all times," said Arshad, further adding, "I cannot wait to see the reaction of the audience towards Asur."

The series also features Barun Sobti in a key role. He shared that shooting his part for the latest series was very demanding. He said: "It is the most demanding character I have portrayed in my career."

Speaking about good content, the 22 Yards actor said: "Personally, I have always felt that content created in India lacks good writing, and writing in our show is the biggest hero. Everyone on this show was just doing their job and they did it to the best of their ability."

Sharing his experience of working on the project, Barun added: "Working with the amazing ensemble cast was an experience to cherish. I think, for Asur, the right people were hired for the right job."

The psychological thriller Asur is being aired on an OTT platform from March 3, 2020.
