'Arjun Patiala' to clash with 'Pal Pal Dil Ke Pas'

Diljit Dosanjh and Kriti Sanon starrer 'Arjun Patiala' has got a new release date. The film will have a box office clash with debutant Karan Deol's 'Pal Pal Dil Ke Pas' on July 19, 2019.

Mumbai: Singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh's upcoming film 'Arjun Patiala' has got a new release date. The comedy entertainer which was scheduled to release on September 13, 2018, will now hit the theatres on July 19, 2019.

Helmed by Rohit Jugraj, the film will have a box office clash with 'Pal Pal Dil Ke Pas' which marks the debut of Karan Deol.

'Pal Pal Dil Ke Pas' is a love story directed by Karan's father Sunny Deol which has been extensively shot in Delhi and Manali. On the other hand, 'Arjun Patiala' which also stars Kriti Sanon and Varun Sharma in lead roles is an out-and-out comedy film.

'Arjun Patiala' will see Diljit in the titular role of a cop, Varun as his assistant and Kriti as a TV reporter.

Earlier, the makers dropped the first look of 'Arjun Patiala' featuring Kriti, Diljit and Varun against the backdrop of a police station.

While fans might have been waiting for the film's release since long, the comedy-drama seems intriguing enough worth the wait.

'Arjun Patiala' is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Dinesh Vijan and Sandeep Leyzell under T-Series and Maddock Films.
