Arjun Kapoor tests positive for COVID-19

Hopping on to social media, Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor declared that he has been diagnosed with the novel coronavirus. The actor is currently under home quarantine.

Mumbai: Actor Arjun Kapoor on Sunday announced that he has tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

India's Most Wanted actor took to social media and shared that he is asymptomatic and is currently feeling okay.

"It is my duty to inform all of you that I have tested positive for coronavirus. I'm feeling ok and I'm asymptomatic. I have isolated myself at home under the advice of doctors and authorities and will be under home quarantine," he said.

"I thank you all in advance for your support and I will keep you all updated about my health int he days to come," added Arjun.

He continued further: "These are extraordinary and unprecedented times and I have faith that all of humanity will overcome this virus. Much love, Arjun."

Showing concern for the Ishaqzaade star, scores of Bollywood celebrities took to the comments section and extended recovery wishes to him.

"Take care!! Wish u speedy recovery," wrote Kriti Sanon.

"Speediest recovery and super responsible and cool that you’ve put this out there! be well soon @arjunkapoor!!," commented Nimra Kaur.

While director Mukesh Chhabra requested him to "take care," Lisa Haydon wrote, "Unprecedented!! Health to you bro."
