Arjun Kapoor on his earlier equation with Janhvi Kapoor: 'We would meet, but...'

Arjun Kapoor has opened up on his earlier equation with half-sister Janhvi Kapoor in a magazine interview. The actor, who has graced cover of the same magazine with Janhvi has admitted that they would meet but there were 'silences.'

Hyderabad: Bollywood star Arjun Kapoor's bond with his half-sister Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor has evolved in the past couple of years. The actor has admitted that their relationship was strained and there was no 'communication worth quantifying' between him and Janhvi.

Arjun and Janhvi have featured on the cover page of a women's fashion magazine. The brother-sister duo looks amazing as they slay it in their all-white ensembles on the mag cover. Speaking with the magazine about his earlier equation with his half-sister, Arjun said, "There were silences. We would meet, but there was no communication worth quantifying," he said while Janhvi added, "I have learnt so much from my family. We have the same father, we have the same blood". Pulling Janhvi's leg for her statement, Arjun said, "Glad you caught onto that."

Janhvi also opened up on how she found a sense of security in Arjun and his sister Anshula after the passing of her mother late superstar Sridevi. The actor said though they don't visit one another frequently and may not have a tab on what's going on in their lives on a daily basis she feels secure with Arjun and Anshula.

"I wake up every day knowing that they always have my back, no matter what. And I can say this with more conviction about them than anyone else in my life," said Janhvi who has always been appreciative of how Arjun and Anshula stood like a rock to her, sister Khushi and father Boney Kapoor in emotionally challenging times.

For unversed, Arjun and Anshula are Boney Kapoor's children with first wife Mona Shourie Kapoor while Janhvi and Khushi are his daughters with Sridevi whom he married in 1996.
