Mumbai: The shock of the Hathras gangrape incident was yet to subside when another similar brutal incident has occurred in Uttar Pradesh. A 22-year-old college student was gangraped in Balrampur district.
On Thursday, several Bollywood divas took to their verified social media accounts to express shock and anger at the Balrampur atrocity.
Anushka Sharma wrote on Instagram Story: "Barely any time has passed and we are hearing of another brutal rape! In which world do such monsters think they can do this to a young life. Kriti Sanon has expressed her fury over the horrific rape cases. She wrote an extensive note on Instagram detailing how “nothing changes” for women in this country.

In Balrampur, a 22-year-old woman, who was allegedly gang-raped, died on the way to the hospital on Wednesday. Dev Ranjan, Balrampur Superintendent of Police, said her family had lodged a complaint of rape against two men. "Both have been arrested".
A 19-year-old woman, who was gang-raped in Uttar Pradesh's Hathras, died on Tuesday morning, at Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi. All the four accused involved on September 14 gang-rape have been arrested.
