Ananya Panday in Farah Khan's next?

After making a splash with SOTY 2, Ananya Panday is certainly on  the film signing spree. If her latest social media is anything to go by, the actor will be seen in Farah Khan's next.

Mumbai: Ananya Panday is on a roll after her dream debut in Dharma Productions' Student of the Year 2. The newbie has apparently bagged a part in Farah Khan's upcoming directorial venture.

Ananya gave a major hint that her next outing could be Farah's film which is yet to be announced.

The undercover development happenstance to come in light when Farah, who choreographed a song in Ananya's about to release film Patni Patni Aur Woh, posted a BTS picture on Instagram from song shoot.

Replying to Farah's post, Ananya shared the same picture in her Instagram story and captioned it with: "We love u!!! My next director," and concluded with a winking smiley.

For unversed, Farah's next directorial venture will be produced by Rohit Shetty, and the project has grabbed headlines because it marks the collaboration between two heavy-duty Bollywood filmmakers. Speculation have been rife about the project, including rumours that the film will star Hrithik Roshan and Anushka Sharma.

There have been several media reports that say that Hrithik and Anushka will feature as the lead pair in the upcoming film, which is a remake of the 1982 film Satte Pe Satta, which starred Amitabh Bachchan.

Earlier, when ssked about truth to the report, Farah had said: "Rohit is producing the film and I am directing it. Unless we come together and make a proper official announcement, everything is speculation."

Meanwhile, Ananya is gearing up for the release of Pati Patni Aur Woh on December 6. The film also stars Kartik Aaryan and Bhumi Pednekar in lead roles.

Ananya also has Maqbool Khan's Khaali Peeli with Ishaan Khatter on the floors. The film is bankrolled by Ali Abbas Zafar and Zee Studios.
