Amyra takes baking lesson from brother for 'Judgemental Hai Kya'

The actress reveals that baking is 'definitely a task!'

Mumbai: Bollywood actress Amyra Dastur has recently revealed that she had taken baking lessons from her chef brother for her role in 'Judgemental Hai Kya'.

The actress who will be essaying the role of Keshav's wife will also be seen as a baker. Her character in the humorous twisted thriller is that of a modern-day city girl who bakes cakes and other desserts.

In order to make the character more promising, the actress learnt how to bake from her brother who is a professional chef in London. When asked about her baking lessons, Amyra revealed: “Honestly, I’m someone who finds it difficult to switch on the stove lol! My brother and Mom are the cooks in my family and I wouldn’t try cooking for my worst enemy even. It was quite funny when my younger brother had to teach me how to bake."

She further added: "It was definitely a task! You have to measure every ingredient correctly, learn how to whisk and mix batters technically to prevent lumps and air bubbles. I guess I also really realised all the effort that goes into a simple Cupcake or Cookie. It definitely wasn’t easy but I guess that’s the life of an actor, always learning new things one would never learn otherwise. Oh and yes I can bake my own brownies now!”

Amyra who plays a cheerful girl next door added a breath of fresh air, balancing out the quirky ensemble cast.

On the work front, Amyra has another three new Bollywood films releasing in 2019 - 'Made in China', 'Prasthanam', 'Koi Jaane Na'.

'Judgemental Hai Kya' is set to release on July 26, 2019.
