Alaya F on dating Smita Thackeray's son and film with Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor

Alaya F has reacted to rumours about her alleged romance with Smita Thackray's son Aaishvary Thackeray. The Jawaani Jaaneman actor has also revealed whether reports of she being roped in to play leading lady opposite Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor upcoming rom-com are true.

Hyderabad: After debuting with 2020 released Jawaani Jaaneman, Pooja Bedi's daughter Alaya F is eagerly waiting to woo the audience with her acting chops in upcoming projects which got delayed due to pandemic. The actor, however, remains in the headlines for her alleged romance with Smita Thackray's son Aaishvary Thackeray. while reports of Alaya bagging the lead part in Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor starrer upcoming romantic comedy are also rife, the actor breaks her silence on most talked about topics related to her personal and professional life.

In a recent interview with a leading daily, Alaya was asked if rumours about her dating Smita Thackeray’s son Aaishvary Thackeray have any truth to it. To which the 23-year-old actor replied, "If you are being talked about, that’s always great! You shouldn’t take these reports too seriously. Aaishvary is a wonderful friend and an extremely talented person. These stories used to spark curiosity amongst my near and dear ones, but now even they are used to it."

Alaya also said that she doesn't stress much about the linkup rumours as much as she does about her professional life. "I feel your personal life should fall into place naturally. You should only work on being the best version of yourself every day. That’s what I did throughout the lockdown. It was all about me thinking about myself and not about any other person," she asserted.

When asked about she being roped in for Rhea Kapoor produced rom-com featuring Hash in the lead, Alaya said, "Well, it’s not true. They (Rhea and Harsh) are wonderful people and I have known Harsh for a long time. He is very well-versed in all things related to movies and it is always fun to have a chat with him."

Alaya made a commendable debut in the rom-com Jawaani Jaaneman last year. The actor also bagged Filmfare award as Best Debut (Female) for the film in which also starred Saif Ali Khan and Tabu. Earlier this year, Alaya was seen in the music video of Goldie Sohel's song Aaj sajeya.
