Akshay only Indian actor among world's highest paid celebrities

With the consecutive box-office success and brand endorsements in his huge kitty, Akshay Kumar has secured 33rd place in the world's highest-paid celebrity list.

Mumbai: Akshay Kumar, who has enjoys multiple releases in a year, has made it to Forbes' The World's Highest-Paid Celebrities. Akshay is the only Indian actor to be featured in the coveted list.

With the consecutive box-office success and brand endorsements in his huge kitty, Akshay has secured 33rd place in the world's highest-paid celebrity list.

The 51-year-old actor put togather a handsome earnings of $65 million last year and in the process the 'Gold' actor left behind some of the biggest international personalities including Tiger Woods, Rihanna, Jackie Chan, Bradley Cooper, Justin Timberlake, Adam Sandler, Travis Scott, Kevin Hart among others.

The top position is secured by singer Taylor Swift.

The 'Blank space' hitmaker has been named as the world's highest-paid celebrity with her earnings of $185 million over the past year, beating reality TV star Kylie Jenner, who ranked second on the Forbes Celebrity 100 list.

Meanwhile, Akshay is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film 'Mission Mangal'. In the Jagan Shakti space drama

Akshay will be seen palying a scientist. The film is scheduled to land in theatres on on Auguts 15.
