Mumbai: Akshay Kumar who is currently shooting for his upcoming film Sooryavanshi shared a new still from the sets along with Ranveer Singh and Ajay Devgn.
Taking to his Twitter on Thursday, Akshay shared the picture with the caption, "The desi Avengers of the Cop universe!When ‘Singham’ meets ‘Simmba’ meets #Sooryavanshi,expect not just fireworks but a full-blown blast on 27th March,2020."
In the intriguing still, the actors can be seen posing as angry cops along with their armed soldiers in the background. Akshay refers to the trio as the desi avengers.
The Sooryavanshi team is currently in Hyderabad for shooting, joined by Ranveer on Tuesday. The actor will be playing a cameo alongside Akshay in the film.
Ajay, who played cop Bajirao Singham in Singham will also be making a cameo in the upcoming cop-thriller.
After the success of Simmba and Singham, filmmaker Rohit Shetty expanded his cop universe with Sooryavanshi. Akshay's entry was teased in the climax of Simmba as an Anti-Terror Squad chief.
In March, the makers of the film shared the first look of the film. In the poster, Akshay was seen donning a police uniform with a revolver in his hand.
Sooryavanshi stars Katrina Kaif as the female lead who will be reuniting with the actor after a gap of nine years. The duo was last seen together in 2010 released Tees Maar Khan.
The film which also stars Gulshan Grover, Sikander Kher in pivotal roles is slated to hit the big screens on March 27, 2020.
