Ajay Devgn's next comedy with Indra Kumar gets a title

After the success of Total Dhamal, Ajay Devgn and Indra Kumar have joined hands to deliver a laughter riot on screen. The upcoming comedy-drama is titled Thank God.

Mumbai: The Bollywood film trade was excited when Ajay Devgn and filmmaker Indra Kumar declared they were returning with a new comedy after last year's superhit Total Dhamaal, and now that film's title has been officially announced.

Titled Thank God, the film will also feature Rakul Preet Singh and Sidharth Malhotra.

According to a news report, the film's storyline revolves around a couple of goodnatured, goofy men who are out to reform society and their hilarious adventures.

Reportedly, Indra Kumar has been scripting the project over several years.

The news report also quoted Rakul Preet as she stated that the shooting for the film was to start on April 10, but the schedule has been pushed owing to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. If all is well, the makers are looking at the summer of 2021 for a possible release date.

Jointly produced by Ajay Devgn and T-Series, the film was announced in December 2019.

Total Dhamaal, the third part of the Dhamaal series, had grossed over Rs 150 crore upon release last year.

Meanwhile, the Singham star paid homage to veteran Indian Footballer PK Banerjee who breathed his last on Friday afternoon.

The actor who was shooting for his movie Maidaan in Kolkata had the privilege to meet this legendary footballer during the film shoot in November 2019.
