Ajay Devgn unveils Maidaan teaser-poster

After impressing the audiences with the first look of the sports biographical drama Maidaan, film's lead Ajay Devgn has released the teaser poster today, treating fans with the same.

Mumbai: Actor Ajay Devgn has unveiled the intriguing first teaser poster of his upcoming film Maidaan on Tuesday.

The 50-year-old actor took to Twitter to share the poster of the sports-drama.

Alongside the poster, he wrote: "#MaidaanTeaser - Get ready for Maidaan! 27th November 2020 @priyamani6 @BoneyKapoor @iAmitRSharma @freshlimefilms@SaiwynQ @writish @ZeeStudios_ @ZeeStudiosInt #bayviewprojects @MaidaanOfficial."

In the intriguing poster, few boys are seen wearing shorts who are all set to play the sport on a muddy ground.

Maidaan is a sports-drama dedicated to the golden years of Indian football. Ajay will be seen essaying the role of the legendary coach Syed Abdul Rahim, who is widely known as the founding father of Indian football.

Last year, Ajay released the poster of the film which showed a huge football in the shape of a globe. Giving a glimpse of a jam-packed stadium as a match being played in the background, the poster read 'The Golden Era of Indian Football' from 1952-1962.

Helmed by the Badhai Ho director Amit Ravindrenath Sharma, the film is co-produced by Boney Kapoor and Zee Studios.

Besides Ajay Devgn playing the role of Syed Abdul Rahim, the forthcoming sports drama also stars Priyamani, Gajraj Rao and Boman Irani in pivotal roles.

The sports biographical film titled Maidaan is set to hit the theatres on November 27, 2020.
