After successive lash out, Zaira receives support from Bollywood

Mumbai: Actress Zaira Wasim who had earlier announced her exit from Bollywood has been at the receiving end for both warm and cruel comments.

Selective actors and choreographers from Bollywood have extended support to the Zaira's decision.

Choreographer Shabina Khan said: "It all depends upon your priority. I am also a very religious person, but I have to work. I have taken care of my entire family by working here (in Bollywood). The question is, do you only want to live as an Islamic person? I had to feed my entire family and so I had to balance it out. My mom always asked me to balance it out."

She further added: "If God has introduced you to this world, then you will have to live the way people live in this world. Yes, the work is such that you can’t do prayers five times a day, but in the end, when you come home you can pray at least once. Zaira feels that way because of her surroundings and her mentality."

Like some people one should not hold Islam guilty for what Zaira stated, said Shabina. She further explained: "It is not Islam that made her do that, it is what she is doing for Islam."

Praising her finesse in the craft, actress Saba Saudagar said: "Such a fine actress. Will miss her. All of us through this face being a part of this industry..hope she comes back soon. At this age, she was such a fine actress... In the later years, I could see her with the likes of Smita Patil."

Seeking support for the 'Dangal' star, actor Yuvraj Parashar said: "Work is worship. It's a belief which should not come in any one's way to success. The real reason behind Zaira's decision is known only to her. I think people need to stop lashing out on her. She is very young, she has her entire life to make decisions. Her decision to quit Bollywood should be respected."

Earlier, Raveena Tandon had also lashed out at her asking to keep her detrimental comments to herself.

Speaking more about it, she said: "I respect her decision to quit, announce to her fans, her life, her choice.would’ve been more graceful if she had not condemned all as the reason for doing so."
