After fulfilling last wish, Vijay Deverakonda mourns demise of his fan Hemanth

Arjun Reddy star Vijay Deverakonda got emotional as he fulfilled the last wish of his fan with whom he connected on a video call. The actor took to social media to pay tribute to his admirer named Hemanth who succumbed to COVID-19.

Hyderabad: Telugu star Vijay Deverakonda is known for not revealing his emotional side in public. Vijay maintains the image of a rebel in Telugu film industry, hence, when he shared an emotionally charged post dedicated to his fan named Hemanth it came as surprise to many.

On Saturday, Vijay took to social media to share a screenshot from his video call with Hemanth. As he has mentioned in the post, his fans brought Hemanth's last wish to his notice and that is how he could manage to bring a smile on the young boy's face who died due to COVID-19.

Vijay shared a heartfelt note on social media and wrote, "I miss you Hemanth. I am so glad we spoke. And I got to see your sweet smile, feel your love and give you some. With tears in my eyes, I am saying a prayer for you right now 😢 Thank you to everyone who reached out to me and connected me to this sweet little boy.. you will be missed Hemanth! I want this memory and you to live on my timeline forever."

The video of Vijay and Hemanth's conversation has made it to social media wherein the latter is requesting Arjun Reddy star for a T-shirt from his clothing line Rowdy. When Vijay asks him if he wants anything else, Hemanth said, "It would’ve been so nice if did not have COVID."

Another viral video reveals that Hemanth did receive not one but three pieces of apparel and a basket of fruits from Vijay.

The actor is being lauded for his kind gesture on social media. Fans are calling him a man with a "heart of gold" and thanking him for spreading joy in the final moments of Hemanth's life.
