Hyderabad: Bollywood hunk Hrithik Roshan has reportedly lapped up the role which was supposed to be essayed by Aamir Khan in the Hindi remake of Tamil crime thriller Vikram Vedha. Hrithik will be seen playing the role of a gangster in the film which also stars Saif Ali Khan as a righteous police officer.
Aamir opted out of the Vikram Vedha remake over creative differences is being widely reported. After Mr. Perfectionist's exit, the makers were on the lookout for an actor who could do justice to the role which was aced by acclaimed actor Vijay Sethupathi in the original.
The said gangster role is now being lapped up by the Hrithik. Interestingly, before Aamir gave his nod for the film, at one point the makers had also approached Hrithik but back then things did not work out. It seems Vikram Vedha was bound to happen with Hrithik as the film has come back to him after several months.
