After 37 years Javed Akhtar notices beauty spot on Shabana's chin!

Seems like Javed Akhtar and the love of his life Shabana Azmi are spending their lockdown days appreciating each other. On a lighter note, Shabana revealed that Javed has just realised that she has a beauty spot on her chin.

Mumbai: Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi, who celebrated 37 years of marital bliss, have rekindled their love amid the coronavirus lockdown.

In a recent interview, Shabana revealed a fun fact about her husband and lyricist Javed Akhtar. She said, it's only recently that her husband noticed a beauty spot on her chin. When asked why didn't he catch a sight of it at the first place, a romantic Javed replied saying that he was blind to everything and was in awe of her dazzling eyes all these while.

"Achha main aab aapko bataun ki yeh jo romantic writer hain unki ek asliat batati hoon... (Let me tell you something about this romantic poet.) Can you imagine he turned around and he asked me, 'Arre when did you get that beauty spot on your chin?' I said, 'I was born with it. And we have been living for 37 years'," said Shabana.

She further added that due to nationwide lockdown, owing to coronavirus, Javed has actually started observing little things in her. She said: "So corona ki wajah se he has seen this."

To which Javed had already prepared a witty response. He quipped: "For 37 year, I was only appreciating her eyes."

The Junoon actor Shabana ended up blushing at his romantic words.

Javed and Shabana are currently spending their lockdown together at their home in Mumbai. The couple also revealed that this has been the longest duration of time that they have spent together in their 37 years.
