Mumbai: 'Maine Pyar Kiya' fame actress Bhagyashree's husband has been held on Tuesday in connection with a gambling racket in Mumbai.
The police on Wednesday said that Himalaya Dasani has been arrested from his residence following his involvement in gambling in Jogeshwari, a suburban area in Mumbai.
According to the Amboli Police station, "Amboli Police had recently busted a gambling racket, in which Dasani's involvement had come to light as his name cropped up during the interrogation of arrested accused."
The officer further said that following his arrest, the actor was produced before the court. He has now been granted bail by the court.
The actor-turned-producer and businessman made his debut in Bollywood with 'Payal' in 1992.
