Abhishek reveals why he introduced no-intimate-scene policy after Aaradhya's birth

Abhishek Bachchan is one of the actors in tinseltown who have revised their on-screen intimacy policy at after a point in their career. Jr. Bachchan introduced the no-intimate-scene clause not after he entered the wedlock with most gorgeous actor Aishwarya Rai Bachchan but post his daughter Aaradhya came into his life.

Mumbai: Abhishek Bachchan has earned an image of a complete family man and there is not one but many reasons that have apparently contributed to it. Besides a good husband, the actor is a doting father who would introduce no-intimate-scene policy even at the risk of losing projects just to make sure that his daughter would not feel uncomfortable watching them in future.

Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan close guard their personal life is known. The actors are active on social media with minimal of their personal life up there for the world to see. He can handle trolls and criticism with his innate sense of humour but when it comes to his daughter, he retorts sharply and says she "is off limits."

Interestingly, Jr Bachchan in a recent interview was asked if parenthood has changed anything for him as an actor, he said, "I know it has changed one thing. There are certain kinds of films and scenes I'm not comfortable doing anymore. I would not want to do anything in which my daughter would feel uncomfortable or something that she'd question me about, saying 'hey what's going on here?'"

The Guru actor said he was very uncomfortable doing romantic scenes anyway and would happily bow out of the project which has a lot of physical intimacy.

"I say that to my directors before signing on, that if there's a scene which has a lot of physical intimacy, that's something I'm not willing to do, so you have a choice," he said.

He continued, "If they say this is integral to my storytelling and they really can't wrap their heads around doing it in a differently aesthetic way, then I say 'look, you have a choice, I'm very happy to bow out'."

The actor also revealed that he lost projects because of the no-intimacy clause but he has no regrets.

The actor who is all set to complete 20 years in the industry by the end of this month, is gearing up for his digital debut with the Amazon Prime web series Breathe: Into The Shadows. He will also be seen in Ajay Devgn's production The Big Bull, a film reportedly based on India's biggest securities scam of 1992.
