Aamir Khan not perfectionist, says Dangal co-star Sanya Malhotra

Over the decades, Aamir Khan has earned an image of Mr. Perfectionist in Bollywood but his Dangal co-star Sanya Malhotra thinks otherwise. Sanya opined the superstar is not a perfectionist but very passionate about his work.

Hyderabad: Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan is called Mr. Perfectionist for his choice of films and eye for details. The epithet is attached to him for several decades but his Dangal co-star Sanya Malhotra disagrees with the popular opinion about Khan and said he is not Mr. Perfectionist.

In 2016, Aamir had said that he never feels the burden of being called a perfectionist as he does not believe in the tag. Explaining why he thinks so, Aamir had once said, "It puts no pressure on me because I don't believe in the title. So that title is an inaccurate title. The correct title that fits me is not Mr. Perfectionist, it should be Mr. Passionate, that is what I am."

Years later, Khan's Dangal co-star Sanya has echoed his views. In a recent interview with a leading daily Sanya said, "Aamir Khan is not a perfectionist, he is very passionate. I think perfectionist has a very negative connotation, the word itself. I think dictionary mein bhi yahi hai ki it’s not a good word."

Sanya was last seen in digitally released Pagglait and Ludo. The actor also has Meenakshi Sundereshwar opposite Abhimanyu Dassani, besides Love Hostel with Vikrant Massey.
