Chennai: Ranveer Singh starrer 83 first look launch event took place here yesterday. Ranveer was seen matching up to Kamal Haasan's favourite step at the event with Jiiva. They slayed the night with their outstanding performance on the Tamil beat.
Ranveer and Jiiva looked handsome twinning in a white shirt and blue jeans along with a blue coat.
Later, the entire cast of 83 was seen giving a power-packed performance on the refreshing beats.
Kamal Haasan who will be seen representing the Tamil version of 83 marked his presence for promotion. Earlier, Haasan took to Twitter to announce that the film will be produced by his production company Raaj Kamal Films International.
"Reliving the epic moment of winning the 83 World Cup which every Indian cherishes even today. We at @RKFI are delighted to present the film 83 in Tamil Nadu #Thisis83," read Haasan's tweet.
Kapil dev and Krishnamachari Srikkanth also graced the event. Helmed by Kabir Khan, 83 is all set to hit the screens on April 10.
