Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft is an Indian-American business executive, who was born on August 19, 1967, in Hyderabad.

Hyderabad: Satya Nadella received the title of 2019 Mephenational Times Person of the Year. At the same time, he has also been awarded the Global Indian Business Icon in the year 2020. Not only this Nadella, with an estimated net worth of $387 million as of March 2020, made it to the top 10 of the Forbes Innovative Leaders list and was ranked 6th position. He was also named as one of the 100 Forbes Powerful People and also an honoree of Time 100 in 2018.

Nadella studied in Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet before receiving a bachelor's in electronics & communication engineering from the Manipal Institute of Technology in Karnataka in 1988.

Further, he traveled to the U.S. to study for an M.S. in computer science at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, and received his degree in 1990 and later, also did an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business in 1996.

On February 4, 2014, Nadella became CEO of Microsoft, the third person to hold the office in the company’s nearly 40-year history, after the co-founders Bill Gates & Steve Ballmer.

Nadella along with Greg Shaw and Jill Tracie Nichols has written a book named Hit Refresh: The Quest to Rediscover Microsoft’s Soul and Imagine a Better Future for Everyone (2017), which included a discussion of his life as well as his thoughts on technology and leading. It is basically Nadella's autobiography. It explores his life and his career in Microsoft.
