Mandla: Six members of a family including two kids were killed in an attack allegedly by miscreants at Maneri village under Dandi police limits in Madhya Pradesh's Mandla district over past enmity on Wednesday afternoon.
While one of the accused was killed by the mob and another has been arrested by police, identified as Santosh Soni of the same area.
The deceased persons' identities are yet to be ascertained. Police informed that all deceased persons were one, Rajan Soni's family members.

The exact cause behind the incident has not yet been ascertained but past enmity or inter-family feud was suspected to be the reason behind it," said Mandla SP, Deepak Shukla.
"We have arrested an accused person, identified as Hari Soni on charges of murder and we have started an investigation into the matter. A rivalry between two families of the village, which aggravated a few days ago, led to six persons' death today. Further details will be revealed after the investigation," Shukla said.
