Minor girl gang-raped in Delhi's Narela; two held

A four-and-a-half-year-old girl has been gang-raped in a colony in Bavana in Delhi. After the incident came to light, the girl was admitted to Ambedkar Hospital in Delhi, it is being said that the condition of the girl is serious.

New Delhi: In yet another incident of sexual assault, some unidentified miscreants allegedly kidnapped a minor girl and gang-raped her at Bavana colony under Narela police limits in New Delhi on Saturday.

According to sources, the accused abducted a 4.5-year-old girl this morning while she was alone at home and took her to a nearby lonely place where the miscreants gang-raped her.

Later, the child was found in a serious state and immediately she was admitted by locals to the Ambedkar Hospital in critical condition, sources said.

According to the complaint filed by the girl's family members, the accused men kidnapped the girl on Saturday. More than two people who took her to a lonely place near Bavana colony and raped the child.

Police registered a case under sections 376, 457, 363 of IPC and section 6 of POCSO Act for the crime.

Police said that the girl has been sent for medical examination.

Meanwhile, based on locals' statement, the police arrested the two youths from the same area and started interrogating them, sources added.
