Drunk man brands daughter in Andhra Pradesh

A man brutally tortured his daughter in a drunken state in Andhra Pradesh. The man was in an inebriated condition and he punished the child for irritating him. Following which, the little girl sustained severe burn injuries and bruises.

West Godavari (Andhra Pradesh): A child sustained critical injuries after being branded by her father at Appana Cheruvu village in West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh on Sunday. The accused man has been identified as Kalyan of the same village.

According to sources, Kalyan was in an inebriated condition and he punished the child for her mischievous work. Following which, the little girl sustained severe burn injuries and bruises.

While the cruelty of the man sparked outrage among the people in social media, police swung into action and rescued the minor and detained the accused person.

The child has been admitted to a nearby hospital and her health condition is not well. She will be discharged if her test reports are found to be normal, sources added.
